Hello There,
A little about me, my name is Steven and I am Potato Brain. I established Potato Brain Arts after getting laid off from my job in April of 2026. I've worked in retail, food services, and hospitality for most of my adult life but never really felt fulfilled. So, I decided, now's the time to take the chance to pursue my dreams of being an artist and an illustrator professionally. I've always been an artist, maker, and a "jack of all trades" but never pursued it professionally other than for a few local marketplaces and a run on Tee Villain (design in my portfolio). Nothing really serious though, but, not any more. I decided it's time. My style is eclectic and I like to experiment with different esthetics and techniques so my style varies. I don't use AI, especially for art!
You may be asking... Yes, Potato Brain Arts is the name I settled on. Why, you ask? Well it's simple! The name felt right, and made me giggle. The joke I like to make is that I chose the name because most of my inspirations are in fact half-baked mashups, and puns. I never could resist a good mashup, pun, or dad joke so, yeah. Potato Brain!
